Do you need:

  • a ride to church ?
  • help finding health resources or aging related needs?
  • Sacramental visits
  • Help as a caregiver?

The Senior Ministry team at St. Andrew connects parishioners to both spiritual and health resources. Currently, fifteen trained ministers of Holy Communion from our parish are available to bring the Eucharist and or visit with those who cannot get to Mass.

We recognize the isolation many in our parish feel as either caregivers or those receiving care. Please email Joy Wallace if you are interested in learning more about how our Senior Ministry team can help you.

Senior Ministry Lunch and Learn

Each month Senior Ministry sponsors Lunch and Learn, an opportunity to share a meal, socialize and learn something new about aging.

Lunch and Learns are held on the second Monday of the month from 11:30AM-1:30PM. There is no charge for lunch, but one must make a reservation to assure there is enough lunch for everyone.

For more information and to make a reservation, please email us at:

St. Andrew Senior/Youth Partnership

Senior Ministry and Youth Ministry at St. Andrews have partnered to reach out to our seniors during the coronavirus quarantine.

Under Jessica Chapman, Director of Youth Ministry, 20 young people have organized to phone seniors (over 75 years old) registered in the parish.

Each youth will check in periodically with three seniors to see how they are doing, let them know how to access emergency food from the Food Pantry and Oregon Food Bank, and find out any other needs.

Another group of four volunteers can follow up by delivering groceries, picking up prescriptions, etc.

If you are interested in assisting in this effort, please email to the address at left.
