2022 Award Recipients

The St. Andrew Parishioner Award was given to Tony Jones, a St. Andrew parishioner since 2011, who has served in a variety of parish roles including the MLK Committee and as a lector and Gospel Choir member, as well as serving the poor and minorities in the community. He is currently the chair of the African American Catholic Community of Oregon.

The Community Service Award went to Terrance Moses and his organization, Neighbors Helping Neighbors. Terrance became involved with collecting the trash of homeless camps in 2016, and saw this as a widespread problem and one that he could assist with. Terrance now hauls about 3 2-ton loads to the dump every day, while also delivering food and toiletries to homeless camps. His organization is now a non-profit with 34 volunteers.
