Legacy or planned giving supports the mission and ministries of St Andrew in the years to come. They may support new initiatives or capital needs that are hard to fund through annual donations alone.

Gifts may be made through direct donations or bequeaths in a will or trust. This includes gifts of assets (real estate, closely held stock, life insurance, retirement accounts).

Donations can be made directly to St. Andrew, or to the St. Andrew Endowment Fund at the Oregon Community Foundation.

Gifts Made Directly to St. Andrew

Gifts made directly to St. Andrew may be unrestricted or restricted. Unrestricted gifts are used to support needs determined by parish leadership.  Restricted gifts are directed towards specific uses requested by the donor. The funds provided by these gifts are controlled by the parish and can be used at any time.

Gifts to The St. Andrew Social Justice Endowment Fund at the Oregon Community Foundation (OCF)

Gifts made to the St. Andrew Social Justice Endowment Fund are directed to the Oregon Community Foundation. The OCF is a statewide philanthropic organization that connects charitable donors with community needs. The St Andrew Social Justice Endowment Fund was established at OCF to provide long-term resources for St. Andrew’s social justice ministries. Gifts to this fund are held in trust and managed by OCF. Investment earnings are distributed to St. Andrew for directed use. Since only the earnings are distributed, the fund principal remains with OCF, yielding a stream of funds to St. Andrew into the future. This fund is directly controlled by OCF, with no oversight or control by St. Andrew or the Archdiocese.
