Feb 28, 2026 – 500 people from more than 12 parishes and Catholic schools gathered at Fernhill Park in NE Portland for a march to support immigrants. The march proceeded along Killingsworth and Alberta Streets to St Andrew Church.
As federal policies have traumatized immigrants, broken up families, and caused injury and even death, we as Catholics are called to uphold the biblical teaching or respect for every human person, and the rights of migrants to seek a better life.
